What beauty!

A couple of my teammates and I went for a walk out in the woods behind our training center. I was able to look around me and see in nature the beautiful design of creation. Here are some pictures that I hope you will enjoy!!

I love the pictures of the water because it reminds me that "as the deer pants for streams of water..."

It also reminds me that I will be going to a place where water is scarce. The people do not have the guarantee of having water available to them everyday. I ask that you lift them up - that they may know living water.

On a less serious note...one of my favorite ways to unwind since I have been here at training has been putting together the puzzles that were in our house. Our first puzzle did not last long because it was fairly small. But our second puzzle was 1000 pieces and, of course, it was a picture of a bunch of flowers! Those of you who have ever done a puzzle of flowers can probably understand the frustration of trying to find where that particular little flower goes...
Well, all of that to say...we finally finished it with only two pieces missing!! Here is a picture of the fruit of our difficult and somewhat tedious labor...

Isn't it beautiful?!?!

Don't worry...our time here has not just been filled with walks in the woods and putting together puzzles...we have been learning so much and have been very busy! I can't believe that one more week and training will be over. We are just two weeks and a few days away from boarding a plane to take us on the adventure of our lives! What an exciting time!! Please be thinking of me and my teammates as we are preparing to say goodbyes and leave behind those that we love.
