Christmas...

Ok everyone!! I know it's been a while since I've updated this blog! That's just part of the fun of not having reliable internet close by!!

Here are some pictures of our Christmas decorations!! Thanks to many of you at home, we had some great decorations that made our house feel just a little more like home during the holidays!!

This is our living room after we decorated....

And of course, no Christmas in Niger could be without a Snowman on the wall made out of electrical tape!!! LOL...when you live in Niger...sometimes you have to get VERY creative....

Here is me holding our snowman's hand...of course, he isn't just any snowman...

If you'll notice his hat....that is the traditional Fulani hat out here and so he is a snow-Fulani!!

And here's another picture of our Christmas tree!

But most importantly...Christmas was a great time for us to be able to share with the Fulani the true meaning of this celebration. I am so thankful to our Father that He would come down in such a humble way and provide for us the most precious of gifts...salvation and life together with Him forever!

Praise Him for He is Worthy!!
