Scenery and....GIRAFFES!!!

This is similar to the view that I saw as our airplane was landing....yep, it's pretty much a desert out here. Lots of sand and lots of bushes!!

Yet another picture of the scenery outside the city.

Here is a giraffe playing "Peek-a-boo" with us!!

Here are some more giraffe pictures. Isn't it amazing?!? We were able to get very close to them. It is amazing to me to see how creative our Father is!!

And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." And it was so.
And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so.
Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.
And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so.
And God said, “Rachel Weigand, go to Africa and build my church there” and it was so.
From this we realize that when God speaks action follows.
And God Said, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. And your there ensuring Gods will, will be done. Souls saved for the his Kingdom. Thanks Rachel for answering the call to serve.

I think it is fascinating that you can see the giraffes up close. I would think that they would trample you and squash you!! But now I know they won't. I also like your headwrap. I think it is really pretty. I really miss you a lot. That's pretty funny that my name means nose in French. Have you seen any other animals yet?

    Love,
