Village friends...

Here are some pictures of some of my friends from the village...(these pictures are courtesy of Andrea...thanks for letting us have the pix you took while you were here!!)

This little girl is my baby. She and I have become quite attached. Her mother even says that she is my daughter! She is always wanting me to hold her or put her on my back and carry her the way the women here do.






These are some girls from the village having fun. I think they are actually looking up at us in the tree the day we climbed it!

This is the water man...he gets water for many of the families in our villages. We can always find him heading down the path to the well with two buckets over his shoulders.
This is a grandma who lives in town. She sells milk on the street during the week and then at market on Sunday.




Above is a picture of some cows being watered at the well. They get water from the well and put it into these smaller round containers which serve as a water trough for the animals.


And here is me holding my girl!!! Can you see the family resemblance?! :)
